PowerAnt types
SwSe (8 switches + 6 sensors)
SwSw (8 + 6 switches)
SeSe (8 + 6 sensors)
Quantity of input/output lines can be easyly extended by
connecting PowerAnts between them
The main type of PowerAnt is SwSe. It has good quantity of the switches and
sensors for most of all applications.
Switch executions
PowerAnt has four switch executions. Three with optocouplers and one without
optocoupler. We do not recommend use switches with no optocouplers.
If you need to connect more than 7 PowerAnts, you can
refuse additional power supply +12V for the benefit of main power supply.
After that you can connect to one BaseStation port 12 PowerAnts.
Sensors
To sensor you can connect two wires.
Closure of this wires mean the sensor is On.
For sensors you do not need any additional supply required.
Our sensor is fast and can detects signal length near 80E-6 sec.
Switches
Executions of PowerAnt switches:
Without optocoupler - command from computer arrives, the
voltage between contact electrodes of the switch is 5V (logical 1 level). If the switch
is off - the voltage between contact electrodes of the switch is 0V (logical 0 level).
In both state the current between contact electrodes are not higher than
20mA.
With optocoupler - when the command from computer arrives, the
resistance between contact electrodes of the switch falls practically up to nil.
For these switches You can connect DC 5-60V, current less than 50mA.
In this execution, using jumpers, You can
select power supply: +5V or additional supply from BaseStation. Also
You can select the external power supply.
Optocoupler 100+ - when the command from computer arrives, the
resistance between contact electrodes of the switch falls practically up to nil (26 Om).
This switch can be used to control electrical devices with AC/DC 220V and
current less than 130mA. In this execution, using jumpers, You can
select power supply: +5V or additional supply from BaseStation. Also
You can select the external power supply.
Super optocoupler - when the command from computer arrives, the
resistance between contact electrodes of the switch falls practically up to nil.
This switch can be used to control electrical devices with AC 220V, 200W power
supply (current up to 1A). If You connect device with current greater than 1A,
You destroy only one switch.
Standard PowerAnt set
All PowerAnts has power led, switch and sensors state leds, two RJ45
connectors for connecton to BaseStation or other PowerAnts.
Firmware subversions
c - high speed decrement counter
adc - Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) on K, L, M, N sensors.
r20 - External watchdog counter for control computer.
Other PowerAnt types
We can develop other type of PowerAnts for you needs.
Just ask as about it.
